2. Our network of 120 licensed professional clinicians in the Hudson Valley and NY metro area allows us to select clinicians best suited to meet the needs of the individual.

3. Employees and members of their immediate household who are experiencing personal or family problems receive in-person professional assessment and referral services.

4. One to three sessions per employee situation are provided at no cost to the client, including assessment, referral and, short-term counseling. Our clinicians make every effort to refer clients needing extended treatment to professionals covered by the employee’s insurance.

5. On-call emergency assistance is accessible 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

6. Supervised employee assistance services are available upon request (with supporting documentation) when EAP participation is mandated by the employer.

7. During times of organizational crisis we help you manage the crisis by providing the necessary support services for employees.

8. Utilizing CSEAP is more cost-effective than maintaining an in-house EAP staff. We maintain a diverse clinical staff with respect to clinical specialty and as a third party we are better able to ensure an employee’s confidentiality.

9. We are large enough to meet the needs of our contract organization, but small enough to meet the personal needs of our employers, employees, and their families.

10. Corporate Services EAP has 30 years of experience in providing crucial and ongoing support services to a wide range of individuals, communities, businesses and government and not-for-profit agencies throughout the Hudson Valley and metro New York area. Our parent organization, Catholic Charities Community Services of Orange and Sullivan, is committed to providing help and creating hope for all those in need in the communities we serve.

The Numbers Tell the Story

11.5% of any employee population will have mental health problems serious enough to affect job performance with:
45% of these related to alcoholism,
25% to emotional problems,
13% to family problems &
7% to drug problems.

(Lerner, D., Henke, R.M. (April, 2009) Most Employers Understand the Health Impact on Productivity Journal of Occupation and Environmental Medicine, Vol 51, Issue 4, 86-93)

Employers spend $2.30 in lost productivity, absenteeism, and tardiness for every $1 they spend on direct health care and pharmaceutical costs due to depression, obesity, arthritis, back pain and anxiety.

Employee interaction and effectiveness with clients, co-workers, and the public is enhanced when their health care needs are comprehensively addressed and treated.

Both depression and stress can weaken the immune system increasing vulnerability to numerous other illnesses.

The early intervention provided through employee assistance programs mitigates problems before they induce significant physical health problems and their associated expenses.
