A Helping Hand For Those in Need
Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster strives to provide a helping hand to individuals and families struggling with homelessness, eviction, hunger, and other issues of marginalization and destitution. Each year, our anti-poverty programs assist thousands of individuals and families in need of care, hope, and help.
Housing Resource Center
Experiencing a housing crisis? Behind in your rent? Facing eviction? Homeless?
If you are homeless, or know someone who is, the Housing Resource Center may be able to help.
HRC 18 Seward Avenue Office Hours: |
If you are experiencing a housing emergency or crisis after the HRC office closes at 5pm, you should evaluate your situation to determine immediate housing options (Are there friends, family, or others with whom you can spend the night?). If you are unable to reach a temporary solution, call the After-Hours Hotline at 211. The Housing Resource Center is a collaborative effort of the Orange County Department of Social Services and Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster. |
Case Management If you are struggling to keep a roof over your head or food on the table, Catholic Charities Case Management Services may be able to help. Last year, thousands of children and families enjoyed a happier Christmas thanks to the Adopt-a-Family and Giving Tree programs coordinated by the Resource Exchange.
