Substance Use: Treatment
Our goal is to help individuals build a psychological, physical, and spiritual foundation to ensure a lasting recovery. All of our treatment services are individualized and allow for the frequency and intensity of care to be adjusted according to the clinical needs of each individual seeking help. Our staff includes licensed/credentialed: psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers, Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselors (CASAC), mental health practitioners, and Peer Advocates.
Most insurances are accepted, also self-pay, and sliding scale.
No person will ever be denied service due to ability to pay.
Substance use disorder is a chronic, progressive, and potentially fatal disease which disrupts the health, safety, and quality of life for all who are touched by it. If left untreated, the illness will result in the social, physical, emotional, and spiritual destruction of the individual and loved ones.

Our PhilosophyAt Catholic Charities, we believe that recovery from addiction requires a comprehensive and holistic approach. Psycho-education, individual, group, and family therapy, and referrals to other community resources are just some of the tools utilized by our multi-cultural, interdisciplinary professionals to ensure that clients receive the care and treatment they require. Experience has shown that attention to the nuances of culture, language, and sexual identity has a positive impact on the treatment and recovery process. Additionally, studies have shown a high correlation and interconnectivity between child abuse and neglect, trauma, mental health, and substance use disorders. Catholic Charities’ clinicians utilize a specialized approach in the assessment of and treatment for all individuals to better determine the interplay of these issues. |
Family and Significant Other Services Family members and significant others play a key role in an individual’s journey to recovery and are encouraged to actively participate in therapy. Counseling services are also available for family members and significant others to help them better understand their loved one’s struggle with addiction and assist them in managing the stressors of the recovery process. |
