Featuring INSIDE and OUTSIDE LIGHTS Tour Options this Year!
Goshen – Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster is excited to be kicking off the holiday season with the annual Goshen Christmas House Tour. The 9th annual Tour will include a much-anticipated return to the INSIDE House Tour and the OUTSIDE Lights Driving Tour.
The INSIDE Tour provides guests with a look inside the beautiful Christmas décor and festive finery of a selection of private homes in the greater Goshen area. Tickets are $40 per person when purchased by Monday, November 27, and $45 per person for tickets purchased after the deadline and on the day of the event. Access to inside homes will be open to ticketed visitors from 1 to 5 pm for self-guided tours.
The OUTSIDE Lights Driving Tour, which started as a pandemic pivot, continues to be a family favorite that’s fun for all ages. Tour passes are just $25 per carload when purchased by Monday, November 27, and $30 per carload for passes purchased after the deadline and on the day of the event. Each car pass will include a Tour map highlighting the featured homes, as well as activities for children.
Combo passes, which include tickets for both the INSIDE and the OUTSIDE Tours, are also available. Complete details and purchase are available at www.cccsos.org.
“We are grateful for the support from generous homeowners who go above and beyond in decorating their homes for Christmas and featuring them on the Tour, both inside and outside, to benefit Catholic Charities and delight our guests. Together, we raise much-needed funds to provide help and create hope for the most vulnerable members of our community,” said Susan Murray-Tetz, Catholic Charities board member and House Tour committee chair. “The Goshen Christmas House Tour is a day full of fun, friends, and festivities for a great cause,” said Ms. Murray-Tetz.
Check-in, map pick-up, and “day-of” ticket sales, for both the INSIDE and OUTSIDE Tours will be open from 12 noon to 3 pm at the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame, located at 240 Main Street, Goshen. At check-in, guests will receive their map, guidebook, and guest pass. Live Christmas music, a visit with Santa, light refreshments, and restroom facilities will also be available at check-in. In the event of snow, the Tour will be held Sunday, December 3.
All proceeds from the House Tour support Catholic Charities programs in the community including emergency food and shelter assistance, addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery support, and immigration legal services, to aid the neediest residents of Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster Counties.
