Friday, April 20, 1pm, Sullivan County Government Center

MONTICELLOCatholic Charities Community Services of Orange and Sullivan will host the awards ceremony for the 24th annual Alcohol, Tobacco, Gambling, and Drug Abuse Poster Contest on Friday, April 20 at 1pm in the main lobby of the Sullivan County Government Center. Students, family, teachers, community members, and media representatives are invited to attend.

“Catholic Charities is proud to host the annual Prevention Poster Contest in Sullivan County,” said Martin Colavito, Director of Prevention Services for Catholic Charities. “It allows young people to use their artwork and self-expression to explore positive alternatives and gain an understanding of why it’s important to say ‘no’ to drugs, alcohol, gambling, and tobacco use.”

Last year, the program provided community outreach, education, and training to 33,000 individuals.
