Catholic Charities and Middletown Cares Partner to Host Community Gathering and Pop-Up Pantry at Middletown’s Thrall Park – Tuesday, October 13, 11 am – 2 pm

Middletown – Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster and Middletown Cares invite community members to attend a gathering of community services on Tuesday, October 13 from 11 am to 2 pm at Middletown’s Thrall Park, 21-41 Grove Street, Middletown. The event will include a Pop-Up Food Pantry distribution hosted by Catholic Charities.

“These have been tough times and many of our neighbors are struggling to keep food on their table and a roof over their head,” said Julie Ubinas, Orange County Regional Supervisor for Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster. “We are happy to partner with Middletown Cares to bring the pantry and other services into the community so that those in need have easier access to food, basic necessities, and information about available services.”

In addition to the pantry, community members will have the opportunity to sign up for immigration consultations and speak with case managers about eviction prevention and other emergency assistance. Middletown Cares and other community partners will have tables at the pop-up event. Services will include Drug Take Back services, health screenings, and free Narcan training.
