Inspire Shares Pajama Donation with Catholic Charities

It was a special day when staff and clients of Inspire arrived at the Goshen office of Catholic Charities Community Services of Orange and Sullivan with 300 pairs of new pajamas. The pajamas, for ages newborn through 18 years, were collected during Inspire’s annual Pajama Drive.
Catholic Charities distributed the donated pajamas to the children and families it serves through a variety of programs in Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster Counties.

“We are so grateful to our friends at Inspire for sharing the bounty of their annual Pajama drive with Catholic Charities and other community organizations,” said Dr. Dean Scher, CEO, Catholic Charities of Orange and Sullivan. “Hundreds of Inspire supporters generously donated new pajamas so that local children may enjoy a good night’s sleep, and we were able to spread the love with our clients.”

Through a variety of programs, including emergency food and shelter, Catholic Charities provides basic necessities of life to the neediest in the community. This frequently includes food, clothing, hygiene items, furniture, and household items. Assistance is provided to those in need regardless of religion or ability to pay.
