Orange County Tavern & Restaurant Association Donated Turkeys to Catholic Charities for Holiday Celebrations

GOSHEN, NY – The Orange County Tavern & Restaurant Association’s annual donation of turkeys to Catholic Charities will help make celebrations a little brighter for families served by Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster this holiday season. Tommy and Christine O’Toole, owners of O’Toole’s Pub in Monroe, coordinated the delivery of turkeys to Catholic Charities. Tommy O’Toole serves as president of the Association.

“While many of their own businesses are coping with significant pandemic-related challenges, the members of the Orange County Tavern & Restaurant Association continue to give generously so their neighbors who are struggling can enjoy a traditional holiday meal,” said Shannon Kelly, Deputy CEO & COO, Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster. “As the pandemic lingers on, the threat of food insecurity is very real for many local families. We are grateful that the giving spirit of the Orange County Tavern & Restaurant Association’s members will help families in need have food on their table this holiday season,” added Kelly.

Families struggling with food insecurity should contact Catholic Charities for assistance by emailing ccosuhelpline@cccsos.org or calling their local Catholic Charities Case Management office at:
