Goldstein Lieberman & Co. Provides a Helping Hand to Catholic Charities
$1000 Donation will Support Agency’s Emergency Food and Shelter Assistance Programs in Orange and Sullivan
GOSHEN, NY – Phillip E. Goldstein, Managing Partner of Goldstein Lieberman & Company LLC, Benjamin Mills, Partner, and Lisa Marshall, Controller, recently visited Catholic Charities Community Services of Orange and Sullivan’s Goshen offices to make a generous donation as part of the firm’s Cares Program. The trio presented a check for $1,000 to Dr. Dean Scher, Executive Director of Catholic Charities of Orange and Sullivan. The funds will be used to support the non-profit agency’s anti-poverty programs which include emergency food and shelter assistance, for residents in need in Orange and Sullivan Counties.
“From addiction services to emergency food and shelter assistance, Catholic Charities lends a helping hand to some of the neediest and most vulnerable in our community,” remarked Mr. Goldstein. “We are delighted to be able to support their efforts with a donation through the Goldstein Lieberman Cares initiative. Working together with human service agencies like Catholic Charities we’re able to help improve the quality of life for our friends and neighbors in need,” added Goldstein.
The Goldstein Lieberman Cares program was created to support various non-profits in New York and New Jersey by providing monetary contributions to organizations throughout each year. The program was recognized in 2011 with the Rockland Business Association’s Pinnacle Award for Corporate Service. Since its inception in 2009, the firm has awarded more than $500,000 to a broad variety of causes throughout New York and New Jersey.
